The F-20A (an earlier variant of the P20SB) Surfboard Planer is the perfect choice for professionals and backyarders looking to upgrade. This planer has been completely dismantled, inspected, cleaned, and tested.
Modifications and Parts Replaced:
- 1/4 Turn on the fly depth adjustment for shaping in concaves, rockers, and rail bands with ease.
- Precision CNC machined from high-grade aluminium bronze for durability, low friction, and ease of maintenance
- Internal stops for zero and full cut
- Sealed
- Ball and stem lever for ergonomics
- Precision CNC machined from high-grade aluminium bronze for durability, low friction, and ease of maintenance
- Max depth of cut has been increased to 3mm.
- Dust elbow (1.5 Inch) to direct foam down or hook up to a vacuum system.
- The front shoe chamfer groove has been filled in and corners rounded to prevent gouging the foam.
- Motor housing has been sanded to provide clearance at a full cut.
- Upgraded front shoe gasket that provides a light and responsive feel when turning the depth control knob.
- Full bearing replacement with SKF low friction sealed bearings.
- Premium 7m flexible black power cord.
- Planer has been grounded to reduce static electricity when using a vacuum system.
- New blades, belt, brushes, and strain relief.
- Motor tested to ensure its running at the correct amps.
- Tested and tagged to AS/NZS 3760.
